Nordic Walking

Jon Nordic Walking

Nordic walking was used as a summer training method for top cross-country, Biathlon and Nordic Combination skiers. Now it's there for everyone.

The Cooper institute in Dallas, America has published a report to show that Nordic Walking burns up to 46% more calories than normal fitness walking.

Fitness is an active state.

You cannot get fit by reading about it, talking about it, or watching other people. You have to do something about it. You can only get fit through movement and effort. The more physically active you are, the more fit you will be.

Why Nordic Walking?

Easy to learn.

Good for endurance, strength, mobility and coordination.

Eases the mobility up to 30%.

Super training for people with knee and back problems.

Helps against stiffness in the shoulder and neck.

The optimal out door way to lose weight.

Nearly double so effective as walking without poles.

A 90% full body work out.

Helps improve the blood circulation.

A balance between body and soul

A super rehabilitation method.

Thanks for the super week end. Your Nordic Walking interval training was great fun, and Marlis and Artschi can still feel it in their legs. Sabine still counts 1, 2, 3, Stop...... We will get back to you about Mountain Biking or Nordic walking/Running/Pacor. Please send us the photos you took, so we can laugh once again.
